Finally, Summer is almost here! May’s Past President night on May 18th night was the last chapter meeting before our summer break. It was a great evening – hope you didn’t miss it! Our chapter meetings will resume in September. But wait!!! Your Board and associated committees are not taking a break this summer! We are working to bring new summer events to members and friends of NEW AITP. In June, NEW AITP is hosting a Summer Networking Social sponsored by Netsonic! And July 20th brings our annual Sherry Anklam Memorial Golf Outing. And keep visiting our web site for details on member-only events which will include a wine tasting event, a Timber Rattlers ball game and another workshop! Help support this chapter by attending our summer events!
Election season is coming near, nationally, locally and yes, at NEW AITP. Our chapter’s election process begins late in the summer with those seeking election to NEW Board getting themselves on the fall ballot! Please contact a Board member if you would like to run for office this year. The chapter members will also be voting on amendment(s) to the NEW AITP Bylaws this cycle. More information will be released as we near the end of summer.
I would also like to congratulate NEW AITP Board member Derek Schauland and Don Jacobs on the publication and availability of their new book! Job well done!
